Cyber Monday 2026: how to use the Monday after Black Friday without burning your margin
Cyber Monday is the Monday after Black Friday. It started in the US as a day for online shopping after the weekend of in-store deals, and today it is the biggest online sales day there. In much of Europe it is less established, but more and more shops use it as a second chance for customers who didn't buy on Black Friday. Don't confuse it with Blue Monday, the third Monday of January, often called "the most depressing day of the year", which is a completely different marketing moment. In this guide I show you when Cyber Monday falls in 2026, what the numbers from the US, Denmark and Romania say, how to choose between extending your Black Friday offer and adding an extra discount, who to target and how to plan the day. Halfway through there is a calculator that shows how many extra orders you need for an extra discount to pay off. When is Cyber Monday in 2026? On the international calendar, Black Friday 2026 is on November 27 and Cyber Monday on November 30 . That is the date used in the US, in Denmark and in most of Northern and Western Europe. Some markets follow their own calendar. In Romania, Black Friday follows the country's largest retailer, eMAG, and comes much earlier: November 7 in 2025, and November 6 in 2026. Shops there use the Monday after, November 9 , as their Cyber Monday. .comparison-cards { display: flex; flex-direction: column; gap: 1.5rem; } .comparison-card { background: #fff; border-radius: 16px; padding: 20px; border: 2px solid #efefef; } .comparison-header { display: flex; justify-content: space-between; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 12px; } .comparison-row { display: flex; justify-content: space-between; padding: 8px 0; border-top: 1px solid #efefef; font-size: 14px; color: #1f2937; } .comparison-label { font-size: 14px; width: 100%; } .comparison-value { width: 100%; text-align: right; } @media (max-width: 600px) { .comparison-row { flex-direction: column; align-items: flex-start; } .comparison-value { text-align: left; margin-top: 4px;…
